Well, I found out that I had Safe16.3 and ZeebsVS in WbStartup (Safe17.0 in
ss!). If I ran Safe16.3 *after* ZeebsVS fblitgui etc. wouldn't work! I
deleted both. Earlier I had reinstalled
MUI 'cos I was tending towards "MUI problems" thinking too. As it is BlackIRC
now works but users/ops don't show up on the GUI, so you may be right. I'll
go and check versions of the classes tomorrow or the weekend.
Thanks for all your comments, at least the really weird problem has gone...
